Hello!
As one of the students that study in Lazuardi GIS Jakarta Junior HIgh School, I'm going to show all of you about my school starting from the general informtaion of the school till' the history of it.
So, what is "Lazuardi GIS Jakarta Junior High School" ?
It is an islamic school that has a "global perspective" and implement the concept of Multiple Intelligent (MI) and Active Learning in every learning activities. This school also implement a bilingual learning system as well as the cultivation of moral and values in religious learning.
- H I S T O R Y
The schools within the Lazuardi Foundation was first started with the establishment of Kanita Islamic Kindergarten in 1994 by Ms. Lubna Assagaf. A year later, in 1995, following the Pre-Kindergarten which originally had only about 20 students and occupied two rooms of Ms.Lubna's house as a place of learning, continued to develop. Because the number of students is increasing, in 2000 Kantika Islamic Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten occupies a new building equipped with good facilities and infrastructure, together with the newly established Lazuardi Islamic School. Then the name Kantika Pre-Kindergarten / Kindergarten was adjusted to Lazuardi Islamic Pre-Kindergarten / Kindergarten. Later on, the Lazuardi Foundation changed the name of the school to Lazuardi Global Islamic School (Lazuardi GIS), an Islamic school with a global insight.

This school have originally 3 floor(s), but since August of last year, we only use the 1st floor and the 3rd floor.
This is how the school looks from the outside. The 1st & 2nd floor is where the classes at (but as I said earlier, we don't use the 2nd floor anymore) and the 3rd floor is our Aula. We usually use the 3rd floor to pray.
For today, I'm only going to show you SOME of the rooms/parts of the school that are in the 1st floor.

1st Floor
- Computer Lab
So this is the computer lab. We use it pretty often. Other than computer lessons, we use the comp-lab when we're doing a test online. As you can see, when I was taking the pictures, there are some students there (they are my friends) and fun fact we are actually on the process of making this blog (each student have to make their own blog). The teacher in the photo is our english teacher, Mr. Agung.
- Library
So this is our library. The library used to be in the 2nd floor and it used to be bigger, but since we don't use the 2nd floor anymore, the library moved to the 1st floor and become a lot smaller. But to be honest, I like the new library much more cause of the size of it, it feels more comfy. (Shout out to all of the teachers and my friend in these pics. Ms. Labibah, Ms. Eni, Ms. Mira, Mr. Nunu, and also Najwa)
- Soccer / Futsal Field
In this school, we have 2 soccer / futsal field. The students usually use the bigger one (aka the second pic) to play sports and stuff. We also usually do our PE lessons at the bigger field. In the bigger field, there's also a basketball ring so that the students can also play basketball.
- The School's Medical Room
It may doesn't looks like a "medical room" in this picture but I promise it usually looks a lot cleaner. The medical room have two of those beds that you could see in a hospital. Not gonna lie, since the room is usually empty, some people use it as a relaxing room rather than a medical room.
- Qur'an Recitation Classroom
So this is the class that we use to learn our Islamic lessons and also our Qur'an reciting lessons. As you may have read about it earlier, our school is an Islam based school. Sometimes, we would use this room to pray too. Because the room is pretty spacious, sometimes we would use it for a place where all the students will gather and do some stuff like example Super English which is an "event" where the students will gather and do some games or activities BUT we have to do all of those activities while talking in english.
There are some more rooms and parts of the school like my classroom and some other classrooms but for now I'll only be showing you guys these rooms.

This event is held at the end of every school year where all of the students will be performing a show. Sometimes, this event would be held the same day as the graduation day for the 9th grade students. This year's theme for the end of the year performance was called "Kacang yang Tak Lupa Akan Kulitnya".
- Homestay
This activity is held every year originally only for the grade 9 students, but for this year the grade 8 students also participate in this event. This event is an event where the students would be staying at a villagers house for two days.
